Before I get to know you... here's a little bit about me.
I'm laid-back, flexible, and pretty chatty. I love creating session experiences that are fun for each individual couple or family. Where one client may want to keep it casual and spend 20 minutes snapping the classic poses, another may want to spend hours exploring the city, hopping on a kayak, and testing out editorial poses during theirs. No strict timelines or expectations. The goal is to create beautiful images and have fun doing it.
I live in Smithville, MO with my husband, Grant and our aussiedoodle, JB. My husband and I have been together for 6 years, and got married in September of 2025. Together we enjoy sipping hot tea, sitting on the deck, planning our next trip, and spending time with our families. We're both major homebodies, and spend most of our free time enjoying our sweet little home. Getting married and building our life together has only deepened my passion for capturing weddings, marriage, and families.
In my free time you'll find me reading, making coffee or matcha, planting flowers, helping my favorite local businesses with their social media, propagating my plants, going to pilates, or spending way too much time online shopping for home decor.

I was a barista for 5 years. I love making coffee and fancy drinks. Now its just a fun hobby.
I'm the oldest of 3 girls! Being an older sister is one of the best parts of my life.
I actually planned on pursuing graphic design after high school. I even started working toward my degree in Graphic Design before picking up my camera and ditching that idea. I still love the occasional design project.
I grew up on a farm here in Smithville. I find all of my best photo locations around Smithville Lake and occasionally use my grandparents farm in the fall!
My happy place is the mountains. Any chance I get, I'm going to the mountains.
I'm a soda addict. Always thinking about a diet coke or Swig.
THE WHY
I grew up in a family that documented everything. Home videos were replayed often, photo albums were worn from being flipped through so many times, and memories were treasured. Some of my favorite moments were spent watching those old videos with my sisters, laughing and remembering seasons of life that felt small then but mean everything now.
Long before photography became my career, it was simply how I loved to create. I was staging photoshoots for my sister’s imaginary YouTube channel, submitting wildlife photos to kids’ magazines, and carefully hanging my “artsy” images in my dad’s office, grateful that he saw something special in them even then.
That foundation is why I love what I do. Yes, I love a perfectly posed image meant for the wall or the fridge, but I believe the in-between moments matter just as much. The quiet glances, the laughter that sneaks up on you, and the way a moment feels while it is happening. My goal is to capture those moments so you can stay fully present, knowing they will be remembered.
As a past 2025 bride now building a life with my husband, my love for weddings and storytelling has only deepened. This season has given me a new appreciation for emotion, connection, and the beauty of everyday moments. I find myself drawn more than ever to honest smiles, real interactions, and images that feel alive. If my galleries can give another family that same sense of joy, nostalgia, and meaning that photographs have always given mine, then I have done exactly what I set out to do.
